Welcome to the web of Louis Minh Khang single malt whiskey.
I am very excited to share with you, about this fantastic project, that brings together the best from Viet Nam, Spain, Basque Country and United Kingdom.
My name is Alfredo de la Casa, I was born in London (UK) to Spanish parents, I grew up in Bilbao (Basque Country), to later on return to London and then move to Viet Nam, where my son Louis Minh Khang was born to Ms. Thoa Kim Kieu.
For generations my family, Familia de la Casa, has been investing and crafting luxury wines, spirits and artisan items. When we find something truly exceptional, we buy it. And so was the case when I found a very special, very rare, single mal whiskey not too far from Bilbao: I bought all the casks.
I did not know what I would do with it, other than drink it of course! But its quality was so exceptional, that I had to buy it, and keep it ageing.
In early 2025 I passed by the distillery and tried it again, and it was fascinating, so I decided it was time to bottle, and honour the birth of my son Louis Minh Khang, who like this single malt, is part Spanish, part British, part Basque and part Vietnamese, and like the whiskey brings the best of each these characteristic cultures to life.
After over 12 years of cask ageing, this single malt was bottled in September 2025 and a total of 2.700 bottles have been produced, making it a collectors whiskey. Would you own /invest in one?
